North Kivu Streets
In 2016, I attended Tuungane, a bimonthly meeting between the village heads of the province of Lubero, North Kivu, DRC
While traveling from one village to another, I was fascinated by the way in which the human figures merged with the environment; both in the chaos of the cities and in the rural areas.
So I instinctively started shooting from the window of a moving car, or walking around the cities, trying to catch that magnificent beauty without breaking it. The result is a collection of images called North Kivu Streets.
